Cypress

A highly valued plant in ancient medicinal systems, with its name, even coming from the ancient Greek word ‘sempervirens’ meaning ‘live forever’. It has been described as a diuretic. Diuretics are often prescribed in those with circulatory disorders, such as peripheral vascular disease, to prevent and treat oedema (swelling) by removing the water that builds up in tissues when blood is not pumped sufficiently throughout the body.

Black Pepper 

The anti-inflammatory properties of black pepper may be useful to reduce swelling associated with poor circulation and varicose veins. Furthermore, black pepper is reportedly a circulatory stimulant to reduce sluggish circulation.

Sweet Orange

It has been suggested that the anti-thrombotic, vasorelaxant and anti-oxidant activities of Sweet Orange may help protect against coronary heart disease by improving coronary circulation, preventing clots in the coronary circulation and preventing low-density lipoprotein oxidation which is involved in the formation of atheromas.

Lavender French (True)
