Distilled from the leaf of the Orange tree, this oil is uplifting and energising. Petitgrain may be used for oily skin and hair and is also circulatory.

It is an evergreen tree up to 10 metres high, this orange tree with glossy, dark green leaves from which the essential oil is distilled, it has very fragrant flowers. Native to Southern China and North East India. The best quality of this oil comes from France but good quality oil is also produced in North Africa, Paraguay and Haiti. Another type of oil is produced from the leaves, twigs and unripe fruit of, lemon, sweet orange, mandarin and bergamot trees.
