A vibrant yellow, an invigorating oil and a circulatory stimulant, good for cold limbs, anti-irritant, anti-arthritic and analgesic. The oil is used in many prescriptions for various ailments.

A small annual plant which grows up to about 1 metre, the fruit pods are what contain the seeds. White mustard most likely originates from the Mediterranean region but many cultivars are grown in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. The oil in the seed is edible but it is mainly used in making pharmaceutical products, soap, leather and wool articles. In North India, the oil from the Mustard Seed is used to make hair oil, for frying and other cooking purposes.

Safety Data
Extremely hazardous in case of eye contact (irritant) Inflammation of the eye is characterised by redness, watering and itching. Very hazardous in case of skin contact, skin inflammation is characterised by itching, scaling, reddening or occasionally blistering.  Severe overexposure can result in death.
